Counseling Fee
$90 per 50-minute session
$50 per 30-minute session

Cancellations
Should you need to cancel an appointment, please contact me at 952-288-4091 or email:  christine@ubbencounseling.com.

Late Cancellation Charge/No-Show Charge
Please try to cancel no less than 24 hours in advance of your appointment to avoid a late cancellation charge of $90.  Also, if you choose to not show up for the appointment, you will be responsible for the $90 late cancellation charge.  Most often clients are waiting for appointments to become available, so
your attention to this request is very much appreciated.


Insurance Information
A common question is, "Do you accept insurance?" 
I am not contracted with insurance companies in an effort to
facilitate client privacy, flexibility, and control of their counseling services.  Consequently, I am not an in-network provider and may be considered an out-of-network provider.  I will provide you with a receipt which you can submit to your insurance company.  I recommend you contact your insurance company prior to the counseling session to verify mental health benefits. 

Common questions to ask your insurance provider include:

  • Do I have mental health benefits?
  • Does my plan cover services by Christine Ubben, MA, LPCC, LAMFT?
  • How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
  • Do mental health services apply towards my deductible?
  • How much is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?
